TIFFANY'S PAGE 2006 to Jan 2009

11th January 2009

Just some more news. We were at a St Andrews, Cupar & District

Canine Society Dog Show on Saturday 10th January. We took Tiffany

Sasha and also Alfie...Tiffany's other puppy whom we sold but he likes

to come to Dog Shows too!!

We had a good day...Tiffany won the class...Sasha was 2nd and Alfie was 3rd

and......YES....there were more than 3 in the class!!!

From there Tiffany went on to win Group 2 in the Utility Group so we were

well pleased. Later on we took Tiffany, Alfie into various varity classes

but the only star there was Sasha who won the Any Variety Bred by Exhibitor

Class. So......a good day was had by all!

Here are a few photos of Alfie once he had been bathed by his owners,

Dougie & Agnes Smith.

27th December 2008

Here we are at last......I seem to be so busy doing not a lot!!

Apart from walking dogs, feeding ponies, mucking out ponies, feeding

ponies again, feeding dogs etc. etc!!!!

Anyway, we had a few shows in October but unfortunately we had to miss

them due to the fact that one of our foals was unwell and we actually

lost him....so that was very sad. Also the two Schnauzers decided that it

was time for them to come into season so that was the end of shows for a bit!

We had entered for the Northern Schnauzer Show so as we had arranged to stay

with our friend in Pennistone, Yorkshire we decided to go down and enjoy a

few days there and also go to the show. We took our black Labrador..much

to her delight as she quite often has to stay behind!!

Off we went to the show......I went in to watch the judging and Tim took

Teal a long walk along the river bank.

I always enjoy the Northern Schnauzer Show as all three sizes are present

and it is such a friendly show and there is always plenty of goodies to

buy for Christmas presents.

Best of Breed of the Schnauzers was Odivane Man of the Moment...a lovely

stamp of a dog. I believe that is his 2nd C.C. so one more and he will be a

Champion. Best Bitch was Khanate A Star is Born at Kaiteriteri, and best

bitch puppy was Miccosukees Midnight Rose at Leebren. Reserve Best of Breed

was Hugo's The Boss at Nilchand...another very nice dog. Best Dog Puppy

and Best Puppy in Breed was Miccosukees Hasta Manyana. Best Veteran was

Ch. Shered Snowy Knight. Here are a few photos of the day.

looking so well.

We have just now got Teal, the Labrador in season and that will be

us free for another few months!! We have a small show with the Schnauzers

at the beginning of January then another one or two in February then we

will be off to Crufts at the beginning of March with Tiffany and Sasha.

Here is a fun photograph of them with one of our Burmese cats, Casper.

15th September 2008

Back again!! Since Camperdown and the others , the more

recent shows we have been to are SKC at Ingliston and Darlington

Dog Show last week.

At SKC Sasha was 1st in Post Graduate Bitch and Tiffany was VHC.

Best of Breed was Rozmic Enchantress owned and shown by Mrs R.M. Hole.

Reserve Bitch was Tamberg Gee Whizz at Skywood owned by Bill Blazek and

Pauline Brooks. Best Dog was Tamberg Chayote Kid owned by Bill and

Pauline and Reserve Dog was Hugo's The Boss at Nilchand owned by Mrs C P

Chapman.

Next venue was Darlington Dog Show last Friday!! It was wet!

It wasn't raining but the ground was very wet and even with the show

committee's obvious efforts our clean Schnauzers didn't last long

on the wet ground, but at least when they went into the ring they looked

the part to begin with!!

Sasha's class was first and although she found the going hard and kept

wanting to "gallop" she still gave a good account of herself! She was

2nd in a good class of bitches so we were pleased.

Tiffany's class was also a good big class but unfortunately although she

made the Judge laugh she wasn't placed......but she was in good company.

Best of Breed and Best Dog was Ch. Miccosukees Finnish Line, Reserve Dog

was Okera Americas Dream. Best Bitch and Reserve Overall was the Crufts

Winner, Ch. Khanate Million Dollar Baby SH.CM, and Reserve went to the

Veteran Winner and one of my favourites, CH. Jalero Miss Ella of Danelbeks.

Best Puppy went to the Bitch, Miccosukees Destiny.

Here are some photos from the day......note the wet ground!!!!!

At the moment that is the site up to date apart from perhaps more

photos at a later date. Our next show is Perth Dog Show on Saturday

27th September held locally so I have no excuse not to go!

After that will be The Scottish Utility Breeds Show held at Bo'Ness in

October, but before that Tim and I will have been down to Birmingham

not to a Dog Show but to The Horse of The Year Show to watch the Ridden

class of Highland Ponies. Reason for that is that a Stallion we bred

has qualified for that so we are going down to cheer him on!!

His name is Echo of Achnacarry.

Until the next time.....................

Here I am at long last ready to put on the piccies from Camperdown.

Here they are of mainly Teal & Sasha whom I was so pleased with for

winning Group 2 in the Utility Group.

We also had Alfie, one of Tiffany's pups there...he was

third in the class and he can be seen in one of the photos

above where we are getting ready to leave the showground.

The next photos are of our black Labrador, Teal who as I said

somewhere else showed herself off well but wasn't placed.

Relaxing!

21st July 2008

As I wrote on our pony News Page I can't believe I have not updated

since 11th June. As I said we have been so busy I always seem to be too

tired to write anything at the end of the day!

Since my last show we have been to Camperdown Dog Show in Dundee with

all three dogs. Teal, our Labrador was in a huge class and although

behaved well and ran out well she wasn't placed. Perhaps she is too slim!

We had Tiffany, Sasha and also Alfie all in the one Schnauzer Class.

Tim took Tiffany and managed to run her round the ring despite his new

hips! I showed her and Sasha and our friend, Jo Willingale showed Alfie.

All three showed well and I was delighted to win with Sasha and she also

was Best of Breed. However the icing on the cake was when she won

Group 2 in the Utility Group under Di Herring. Both Tim and I were delighted.

I have photos and will put them on soon.

Yesterday we were at an Open Show in Kirkaldy where there is also a class

for Schnauzers. It is so unusual to have our own class I always feel I

should support it. I took our two and there were a few othes in the class.

This time it was Tiffany's turn to win and be awarded Best of Breed!

It is always interesting to see which Judge prefers which dog.

Anyway that is all to report now but I have lots of photos to put up so

watch this space!..............

11th June 2008

Just a wee bit of news. We were at the St Andrews, Cupar

and District Open Show on Sunday 8th June with Tiffany , Sasha and

Teal. The Schnauzers were in the AV Utility N.S.C. and Sasha was

2nd in her Graduate class and Tiffany was 1st in her Open Class.

Tiffany then went on to win Best Utility N.S.C. so that was good.

I thought we might have had a look in in the Group but it wasn't to be.

However our friends, Joe and Jackie Willingale won the Utility Group

with their Miniature Schnauzer, Starshan Twelfth of Never..so at least

they kept it in the family ..so to speak!!

I showed Tiffany and Sasha in the Brace as did the Willingales.

The Miniatures were 2nd and we were 3rd. 1st were a beautiful pair

of Blue Merle Shetland Collies and 4th were a pair of Old English Sheepdogs.

Sasha was also 4th in a large mixed class so we had a good day.

The only dog not to win anything was Teal, our Black Labrador...just

wasn't her lucky day but she is loved just the same!!

Sorry...no photos as Tim wasn't with me...he is usually the official

"Doggy Photographer!!"

Until the next time...........

1st June 2008

Just a wee update on Tiffany's page. Not a lot to report yet except

for some photos of my friend's wee Scottie puppy who is very sweet!

Here they are..........

Karen Potter's Scottie

The other piece of news is that on May 18th I took Sasha and Tiffany

to the Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show which is held at Ingliston

each May and August. I had a good day......Tiffany was 2nd in her class

and Sasha won her class ..so I was very pleased with both of them.

I had hoped that Sasha might have gone one step further but...not to be.

Tiffany has qualified for life for Crufts but I have still to try and

qualify Sasha ..so by winning her class she has now qualified too for Crufts

2009. Whenever I got them home I began on their coats. That is one thing

about Schnuazers..they have to have their coats worked on every week to keep

them course and wirey for the shows. As Tim wasn't with me there were no

photos !!!!!!

Here is a fun one of Teal, Ellie and Brenda.

24th April 2008

This is where I miss Tim. You will see that I have made a deliberate

error. Further down there is my update beginning with another 24th April

and in between is 2nd April which I didn't notice!! Once Tim comes from

hospital I will get him to fix this. Meanwhile it will have to stay like

this.

As I said before after trimming Alfie, one of Tiff's pups I said to his

owners that they should start showing him as he is a nice dog. Hoping they

would say yes, I entered him in two shows, the Scottish Utility Breeds Show

and Perth Open Show. He came to both and did very well!

I entered Tiffany and Sasha in both also but Sasha could only go to the

SUBC Show as she was in season by the time Perth came round. However, Teal

our black Labrador was to make her debute at Perth so that was plenty for me!

The SUBC Show was a good one for me as Tiffany won the Open Class and Sasha

won the Limit class then Tiffany went on to win Best of Breed. She didn't

get placed in the Group but never mind!

This was Alfie's first show and he had a very good day. Our friend, Joe

Willingale showed Alfie for his owners and he was 3rd in the Limit class

making his owners very pleased. I had also entered him in the Open Dog class

and as he had been placed in front of the other dog which was in limit class

he was awarded First prize and Best Opposite Sex! His owners were so pleased.

I also took him into the Brace with his mother and we were 2nd in that so

a good day was had by all. These placings mean that Tiffany and Alfie have

both qualified for Top Dog which is run by the SUBC and is held next MARCH 2009.

Here are some photos from the day.

The following Sunday was Perth Open Dog Show and much to Tim's delight

I had entered Teal, our black Labrador in her first show. She was in

Special Yearling Class and there was no-one more surprised but pleasantly

than me when we were awarded 2nd place! She was very well behaved

and like Alfie above it was her very first show and I was delighted.

Here is a photo of her ...not in her class but waiting patiently.

Most of these piccies of the show come curtesy of Dougie Smith, Alfie's

owner...so many thanks Dougie!

Pitmenzie Teal

`

Alfie went one better at Perth to win the mixed Schnauzer class

again delighting his owners who will now be encouraged to attend more

shows I would think! Tiffany wasn't too good on the Ice Rink surface and

didn't run out well and her 4th placing reflected this. Still, I, like

his owners was more than pleased with Alfie's placing giving him Best of Breed.

Here are a few piccies of the day, again curtesy of Dougie.

2nd April 2008

Not a lot to report. I have been at a few Ring Craft classes

with the dogs as we have a few shows coming up. The first one of those

is the Scottish Utility Breeds Show which is held at Bo'Ness on April 12th.

After that there is the Perth Open Show held at Perth Ice Rink and this

year I am not only showing the Schnauzers but also Teal, our black

Labrador......so that could be fun! Saying that I have been practising

with her and she has been to Ring Craft 4 times now so she must be getting

better. Forgot to say that the date for Perth is the 20th April.

I also bullied one of Tiffany's puppy's owners to let me have a go at

showing their dog at a couple of the shows...so hopefully they will

remember! There dog is called Alfie....Achnacarry Sir Alfred being his

registered name. I took a few photos of him when he was last across for

his haircut so I shall put some on below along with a few others of our lot.

We also have the SKC Championship show in May to look forward to.

That is us up to date for the time being....meanwhile I will

be carrying on with Ring Craft classes when I can manage them as

well as trying to keep on top of the Schnauzers' coats as well as

walking them and Teal...as well as riding and feeding the ponies!!!

Until the next time..........

24th April 2008

Since I last wrote I have trimmed another one of Tiffany's pups

and also had another one at a couple of shows, dragging his owners with

him to the first one , then when he did well they couldn't wait to go

to the next one!!!!

It was Jodie who came for a tidy up as her "Mum" always manages to do

most of her but there are some bits she prefers me to deal with.

Here are a few photos of Jodie and also her brother Rudie with Sasha, Teal

and Tiffany.

Well.......Crufts has been and gone!!!!

We left on 5th March with Tiffany and Sasha and exhibited on the following

day. Unfortunately neither dog won anything. The classes were fairly

large and the quality good in most cases. However in Sasha's class I blew

it when I couldn't get her stacked properly, and the more I tried, the more

I failed!!!! Back to the drawing board!

Tiffany's coat wasn't looking its best and I probably should have left her

at home. However she was there and we actually enjoyed ourselves.

Champion Bitch was Ch Khanate Million Dollar Baby ShCM owned by Bawden &

Brown. Her sire is Vandell King Kennie and her Dam is Khanate Spruce

it up. She is a very nice bitch with a superb coat.

The Best dog was Odivane Just the Guy owned by Mr & Mrs P Wakefield.

His sire is Ch Odivane Duke of Wellington and his dam is Nakota Miss

Congeniality with Odivane.

Of course the highlight was the Best in Show the Giant Schnauzer,

Ch Jafrak Phillippe Olivier `owned by Mr & Mrs Cullen.

His sire is Luther King Du Bujol and his dam is CH Jafrak Dolcelata.

He was a worthy winner and in good form.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and of course the shopping is always a

must!! Every excuse for treating the dogs to a treat or two and also

ourselves!

We drove home on the Friday and on Saturday I stripped out Tiffany's

coat and on Sunday I tidied Sasha. Crufts was in the past and we look

forward to the next show and of course I have to try and qualify Sasha

again. Tiffay has qualified for life now so at least I don't have to

worry about qualifying her.

Another venture is that we are going to show Teal, our black Labrador

who comes from prize winning stock.....so....you never know!!!!!

Watch this space!! I took her to Ring Craft last week and she didn't

disgrace me! That is about all my news for now. I shall print a photo

of Tiffany below which one of her puppy's owners took at Christmas.

Until the next time..........

22nd February 2008

Here I am again. I am getting excited at the thought of going

down to Crufts again this year although I still have a lot to do

before we leave. We show on the 6th March and will travel down on the 5th

and return on the 7th March.

Tim had a hip replacement on 30th January and although recovering well

and walking a little bit more every day we have had little spare time!

I had left the dogs' coats a little bit too long over the winter and

because we hadn't been at any shows I had a bit of work to do to try

and tidy them up. I stripped Tiffany's coat right out...something I

haven't done in a long time..probably the last time was when she had her

puppies. It hasn't grown right back in yet , so I am keeping my fingers

crossed that it will look ok on the day.

Sasha's coat is totally different and is much easier to maintain but

also requires some more work before 6th March. Between that and feeding

14 Highland Ponies life is far from dull!

Here are some photos of Teal and Sasha in their "dry bags" after getting

very wet on their walk. Don't think they approved!!

The other two photos are of Sheeba, our oldest Burmese cat who is 15 years

old and the other is of Casper our other who is only a youngster..he is

8 years old. He and Sasha are sharing a bed.

Here are a few photos which tell the story from Christmas to now.

Some are of Teal and Sasha with their Christmas bones, another of

Tiffany and the Christmas Pressies! We also had a visit from one of Tiffany's

puppies, Monkey and his owners so there follows varius piccies of him.

There is one of him which has been reproduced as a picture and copies may be

for sale at a stand at Crufts!

Here they are.

30th January 2008

At last!!! I have missed the web site so much but due to

circumstances beyond our control there was nothing

we could do until we enlisted the help of some good friends and their expertese.

As I said on the pony page Tiffany (Odivane Sultry Sally)

had some success at the SKC show at Ingliston, Edinburgh.

She won the Limit Class then went on to be awarded her first

Reserve Challenge Certificate which delighted Tim and I.

At the same show, Sasha also won her class so it was a great

day for us. Best Dog and Best of Breed went to Ch. Miccosukees

Finnish Line owned by Mr & Mrs A Beel.

The next show we went to was Darlington but although placed

there was nothing to write home about!

The last show of the year was The Northern Schnauzer Show held

at Elsecar, Barnsley ....so we get around!!

Again we had a good day...Tiffany was 2nd in a good sized class

and Sasha (Achnacarry Tiffys Girl) was also 2nd in a good class.

We were very pleased. Champion dog was Tamberg Chayote Kid winning

his 2nd Challenge Certificate so congratulations to his owners,

Tim Blazek and Pauline Brooks.

Hopefully below is a piccie of Tiffany and Sasha at the Show.

13th January 2008

We may be working again thanks to friends and new software. Watch this space!

3rd July 2007

Not a lot to report since the last time. We have been

busy showing the ponies and although I have been busy with

other people's dogs grooming them I haven't been at any more

dog shows myself. Anyway, here are some photos taken of Sasha

with her prizes which she won at Camperdown Show and also some of Tiffany.

The other photos are of Teal, our black Labrador puppy who is now 8 months.

Also a few fun ones.

I am afraid that is it!!!!! Hope there will be some

more news soon. Meantime enjoy the summer............

12th June 2007

Life has been pretty busy for us..Tim gardening and me dividing

myself between ponies and dogs. I have had quite a few dogs in for

grooming as their owners suddenly realise that the weather is becoming

hotter...we hope!!! I had my usual Mini in last week. He is called

Brodie and I have groomed him since he was a puppy. here are a couple

of photos of him. He is now 3 years old and his owner would very much

like to use him at Stud....so if there is anyone out there who has a

nice little bitch?!!!!!!

Brodie

Brodie

My other news is Tim and I took Tiffany and Sasha to an Open

show held at Camperdown Park in Dundee. It was a massive show and

the weather was hot and humid, but we managed to find ourselves a cool

spot so it wasn't so bad. Gill Ogburn was the Utility judge and as

she has Schnauzers I thought it would be nice to go and support her.

We had a good day....Sasha was 1st and Tiffany was 2nd and YES there

were more than two entries!! Sasha also got Best of Breed so I was

well pleased. As both dogs were in the same class, Tim had his first

initiation into dog showing and he seemed to not mind too much!!

Later on there was the Group but unfortunately, Neither Standard nor

Mini Schnauzer was placed....."C'est la vie!"

I had entered various varieties classes with both dogs, but as there

were two separate judges it made life difficult, and Tim was quite

adamant that he wasn't going into a class with either dog!

I managed to show Sasha in two classes, one bred by Exhibitor where

she was 3rd out of at least 20...then another... Post Graduate Where

she was 4th again in a very large class. I was very pleased.

We then entered the Brace which had around 10 entries which was

20 dogs doubled up. I thought we had the best performance (for us)

to date!....we are getting better. However we weren't placed........

Another time.... I had another show the next day but I only took

Sasha as would have had to bath both again on the Sunday morning and

I decided to have a more restful day and as Tim was staying behind to

do some gardening it was fine. There were no Schnauzer classes so we

were in Not Separately Classified and Sasha was 1st..but unfortunately

didn't get any further although the Judge said it was a close one.

So..that will be us for a bit...the dogs including Teal will be going

to the Highland Show with us next week. They always enjoy that and it

will be a first for Teal. Hopefully we will have some photos for the

next write up.

We are having Alfie, one of Tiffany's puppies to stay for 3 days in

July so that will be fun!!!!!!

Until the next time.........

29th May 2007

Just to say that the Mini....Molly is now shown below.

She is a wee cracker with a very good temperament, very

stocky and a proper Schnauzer.

It is not a good day today although the rain is much needed

for the ponies. I think that it will be a good day for

trimming my own dogs as we have shows on the 9th and 10th of June

so that will be a busy weekend!!

28th May 2007

Time for an update.

Life has been hectic on the doggy front and also the horsey

front. We have been busy with foals being born, so if you

are interested in foals have a look at the current horsey news.

On the doggy news, Tiffany and Sasha were both at the SKC Championship

Show at Ingliston on 19th May (when normally I would have been at

Fife Show!!!!). However I wanted to show the dogs and see if we could

qualify for Crufts 2008 as well as try for a Challenge Certificate.

We got one of our wishes.....we qualified for Crufts with both dogs.

Tiffany (Odivane Sultry Sally at Achnacarry) was 1st in her class and

Sasha (Achnacarry Tiffys Girl) was 2nd in Junior Bitch so we were

delighted with that and will (God willing) be off to Crufts again next year.

Best dog and Best of Breed went to Mr & Mrs Beel's dog,

Ch Miccosukees Finnish Line. He also finished up 2nd in the Utility

Group which was great for the Schnauzers.

Best Bitch went to Brooks & Blazek's Post Graduate Bitch,

Tamberg Gee Whizz at Skywood.

Since then I have been fairly busy trimming other people's dogs as well

as my own. Today I had a delightful Mini Schnauzer puppy to trim

she is only 17 weeks and great fun. She stood very well to be groomed

considering it was her first visit. I have taken some photos and will

print them on here once Tim downloads them for me.

We have some shows coming up for Tiffany and Sasha in a week or two

so I have to keep their coats up to date. Here are a few photos of

Tiffany and one of our foals, also one of Teal our 6 month old Labrador

who is a tear-a-way!!!!. There are also some of two of Tiffany's puppies

whose owners are very good and keep me up to date with their progress.

6th May 2007

Here I am at last.....life seems to have been so hectic

recently, but at last I have updated the pony page (nearly!)

and tonight it is Tiffany's page's turn!

The first thing to report was our trip to Crufts then our

trip to Devon to visit Tim's daughter and her new (ish) baby.

Crufts was great fun, busy as always and time to catch up with

some friends and also all the latest gadgets for dogs.

I also had some shopping to do for myself and others so, never

a dull moment. We stayed at the Holiday Inn for two nights along

with our friends, Joe & Jackie Willingale who own Mini Schnauzers.

We had a most enjoyable stay there and I would recommend it to anyone.

Both Tiffany and Sasha were 4th in their respective classes which was fine,

although I thought Sasha could have been a bit higher!! However,

that's showing for you.

Sorry...no photos this year as Tim was occupied with either

Sasha or Tiffany so had no time to take piccies!

The next day we left for Devon but we were doing a de-tour

via Bridgewater in Somerset where Tiffany's breeder, Mary Moore lives.

She had a litter of Schnauzer puppies and we were stopping in to see

them for a friend. We had great fun with them. Here are a few photos.

Odivane Puppies

Odivane Puppies

After an enjoyable time viewing the puppies and chatting

to Mary, we set off again to Devon and soon I remembered why

I liked it when we saw all the green fields and all the little

roads with the high banks. How on earth there aren't more road

acccidents in Devon, I'll never know!!

Anyway we soon found our cottage which was to be home for the

next week and explored the surrounding fields with the dogs.

Here is a photo of the cottage and also some of the dogs and

Tim.

Tiffany

Tim & the Girls

That was our trip to Devon....I think most of the photos

are on the pony page of Faith, Tim's grand-daughter and perhaps

some others. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time down in Devon,

and the dogs had their legs walked off!!

Since returning home we have been to a few dog shows, the first

being The Scottish Utility. Tiffany was second in her class and

Sasha was 1st in hers, but unfortunately didn't get any further.

The next was Perth Show which was held a couple of weeks ago.

It was a much better day out for us. There was only the one

Schnauzer class so both Tiffany and Sasha were in the same class.

I asked a young friend to give me a hand with the two of them,

although I ran both out for the judge. Tiffany was 2nd and Sasha

was 1st and also got Best of Breed....and YES there were more than

the two of them!!!!!! I was well pleased.

We also had entered them into the variety classes, and Tiffany was

4th in a very large class. Sasha was 2nd in another very large class

and then 2nd in another...so we went home with lots of rosettes!!

Our next show is The Scottish Kennel Club Championship show on

19th May...so I have been busy with their coats, combing and scraping.

I am even missing our local Horse Show to go to it!!!! Unheard of!!!!

Before Crufts I had three of Tiffany's puppies here for a tidy up.

They were Jodie, Rudie and Alfie. Here are a few photos of them as

well as one of Tiffany & Teal & Sasha.

23rd February 2007

Time for a short update although nothing much to report.

Both Teal and Sasha have been at classes the last week or two

mainly for Teal's sake although it makes a change for Sasha to be

at training class rather than Ring Craft. They are both coming on

and I think Tim is enjoying his sessions with Teal.

The next major event on our calendar is Crufts. Sasha is in

Junior Bitch and Tiffany is in Limit so........fingers crossed for us!

Like the Highland Show with the ponies it is an enjoyable social event

where friends meet up. It is also a dog-a-holic shopping bonanza!

There is everything and anything available for dogs AND their owners!!

Next Saturday we are at the Stallion show in Perth with our young stallion.

He is also parading with a view to showing him off for prospective ladies!!

So, the next two weekends are going to be very busy for us.

After Crufts we are visiting Tim's daughter and husband and their wee

daughter who was born last May. They live in Devon so we have booked a

dog friendly cottage for a week so that should be good fun.....lots of

walks for the dogs and us.

Teal is having to stay at home as she is still too young, but our good

friends, Brenda and Jimmy are holding the fort as usual.

Here are a couple of photos of the menagerie!! MOre to follow after

Crufts.....good or bad!!!!

As an extra I read in the dog newspaper that Tiffany's Dad,

Champion Odivane His Masters Voice won Best Utility Veteran

at the ripe old age of 11 years at the Open Show at Newton Abbot.

He was also 3rd in Champion Stakes class, so not bad for an old man!

He was shown by Mary Moore's daughter, Pip.

I also heard from Sasha's father's owner that Jalero Mr Mason had

won Best of Breed at a local show....so nothing like keeping it

in the family!!

Who says dogs aren't allowed on settees?!!

Tiffany again.

8th February 2007

As I said the last time, I was at a dog show

in Edinburgh on Saturday, 3rd. Tim stayed at home

"dog sitting" Teal whilst doing a bit of gardening

and feeding all the ponies.

Sasha was in the Post Graduate class which she won,

and Tiffany was on the Open mixed class and guess what!

she won her class. I was extremely pleased.

As there were only the two classes, Sasha and Tiffany

were against each other ....and Sasha was awarded

Best of Breed. I was chuffed to bits as this was her first

Best of Breed.

The Group Judge went away for lunch...supposedly for

20 minutes but he was away for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

By the time we went into the Group...Sasha was fed up

and maybe I was too! so we didn't get anywhere.

Anyway a very good day and now all we have to do is

practise for Crufts.

No Tim ....so no photos of the show!!!.......

However here are a few photos of Teal with her sister and mother

who came to visit when I was away at the show.

Teal & family

Yesterday, 7th February, Tim and I took Teal and Sasha

to Training Classes.....Teal to Puppy Class and Sasha

to the next class up. I think they both got on really

well...apart from Teal blotting her copy book!!!!

She had a pooooooooo on the floor!!!!!!!! Oh! Dear!!!!

Next week ...no food before the class!!!!!!

More next week!!!!......................

Just a couple of new photos, one of Teal the other

of Sasha. Teal is growing like a mushroom and just loves

pulling the Schnauzers' beards!!!!!

Until the next time....we are off to a show with

Tiffany and Sasha this coming Saturday.........

23rd January 2007

A Happy New Year to all our readers. There is not a

lot happening in the way of dog shows. The only one we have

been at was a local one a couple of weeks ago where both

Tiffany and Sasha were in mixed classes under two

different judges. The first judge didn't seem to like

Standard Schnauzers so we got nowhere with her, but the

second judge who was also a woman gave Tiffany 2nd prize,

and Sasha was 4th in a different class so that wasn't so bad!

We have another one in two weeks time where there are classes

for Schnauzers so we shall see how we get on there.

Meanwhile just a case of keeping on top of their coats.

At least Sasha has had her first season so that is that out

of the way!

We had a bad day on 18th December where our wee old

Jack Russell came out of the cat flap (unknown to me)

and unfortunately got in front of the car. He was stone

deaf but usually was aware of the cars. It was a particularly

frosty morning so perhaps he had a wee fit which he WAS

prone to and collapsed.....either way I will never know.

Either way I was extremely upset and called Tim who rushed

home. We buried him next to all the other graves and

will just remember the good times when he entertained us.

In his youth, he and Hope used to go miles with Tim and

I when we went out riding. He was also less well known

for "pinching" people's sandwiches and a good friend of

ours never lets us forget when he pinched his!!

Unlike some Jack Russells he was never a fighter and was

very affectionate. He liked to "Rule the Roost" in the

house though!!! He joins his friend, Mac, our first

Standard Schnauzer who grew up with Breac and who died

five years ago in February. Breac would have been 16 years

of age in February so he had a long and happy life.

As I said in my pony page he was known by lots of different

names depending on what he had been up to!!

These were....Toad! Skewbald! Rat Bag! Spotty! Shorty!

and of course his proper name Breac. May he rest in peace.

On December 27th a little black Labrador puppy came into

our life. She was ordered a long time ago when Hope died

and was born on 31st October 2006. We have called her Teal

after a type of Duck....fitting, we thought, for a Labrador.

She has settled in remarkably well, possibly because of Tiffany

and Sasha being here not to forget the two cats!!!!

Like all the other dogs, she plagues Casper, our Burmese and

drags him around by the ear and neck!!! He is used to it as

he went through it with both Tiffany and Sasha!!! He puts up

with so much then lets the claws out!!!!

Here are some photos of Teal when she first arrived, then some

of her with Tiffany and Sasha in the snow and others.

There that will do for starters!!! She is going to go

to puppy obedience class in a weeks time and as she

comes from good stock I may even show her!

The only other thing that we are looking forward to

is we are off to Crufts with Tiffany and Sasha in March

and from there we are going down to Devon to visit Tim's

new grand-daughter. Hopefully we shall be able to go

lots of walks too with the dogs. Teal will stay at home

with our good friends, Jimmy and Brenda.

Till the next time..............

30th November 2006

What have to report? No shows to update, but

just to say that the puppies are now a whole YEAR OLD!!!!

I cannot believe that they are all grown up already.

Sasha even got a few birthday cards. We had a nice

surprise on Sunday past, when we had a visit from one

of her puppies and his owners. The puppy was Troy and

at the puppy party it was only his Dad who could manage,

so this time it was his Mum, Linda and Jack and Lucy

who visited. We had a nice re-union and needless-to say,

Sasha was as mad as usual, barking her head off!!!!

Tiffany, on the other hand was much more aloof only

interfering when the puppies got a bit boisterous.

Here are a few photos of the occasion.

there again I don't suppose that is bad going!

To finish, here are a few of our photos of the "family".

Im our pony page, I mentioned that we had been

staying down in Yorkshire with our friend, Alison Payne

and her two daft dogs!!!!! Well.....here they are.

Beth, a beautiful collie who likes

chasing "pretty lights" ie; reflections.

Mac, Alison's beloved collie.

Well, I managed to write something and put some photos on.

Time for bed. Apologies for this writing format....Tim says

I have lost my margins because of a large photo I put on of the

puppy party!!!!......Night,night!!.............

4th November 2006

Just a wee update. Nothing much to report since the last time except that we are getting

another "black blob"!!!! Yes, there has been a litter

born of Labrador puppies, two litters to be more precise!

Our friend who bred Hope still has her mother, but

also has two young labradors and when she heard

about poor Hope, she said that was all the incentive

she needed to breed some more puppies!!

She telephoned on Tuesday to say that both her bitches

had whelped and the yellow bitch had had NINE bitches!

Unfortunately as sometimes happens, one has since died

but that still leaves her with 8 bitch puppies.

The other bitch who is chocolate (as is Hope's mum)

had three chocolate boys and two black bitches!!

Tim has a choice of two....so that is exciting.

The Schnauzers will be more than happy to play with

another black labrador, and Breac, our elderly

Jack Russell will be cursing her no doubt!!

The poor cats will be fed up with ....yet another

puppy to discipline!!!

No other news. I am missing a Championship Show

which we normally go to, but the HPS and HPEC have

changed their dates for the dance and AGM and it

would mean us going down to the same place twice

one weekend after another. Needless-to-say, I am

disappointed but that's life...as "they" say!!!

There are a few small Open and Limit shows which

I shall go to between now and Crufts so we shall

have plenty of practise. Sasha will be out of puppy

classes after November 26th. It is hard to believe

that all the puppies will be 1 year old then.

Here are some photos of Sasha at the Bo'Ness Show

and also one of her and Tiffany on the dog bed outside

when I was washing the kitchen floor.

The other photo is of Brodie, the Minature Schnauzer

that I trim.

That is all the news so far....once there is more

I shall report. Until the next time.........

Sorry about the print on this report. I think it

is because I put an extra large photo of the puppy

party on here and in doing so I have lost the margins.

Tim will have to fix it!!!!!

22nd October 2006

I have added some more photos of the puppy party below.

Since then we have been at the Scottish Utility Breeds Show

at Bo'Ness with Tiffany and Sasha.

Sasha was 1st in her class and also won Best Puppy, so we were

very pleased.

Tiffany was 3rd in her class.

Hopefully there may be a photo or two. Tim is responsible for the photo taking so not sure what was taken if any!!.

Until the next time.................

15th October 2006

Well here we are again having had a very successful

puppy party last Saturday.

Although the sun didn't shine

everyone wrapped up and got into the spirit of the party.

We were very lucky to have eight of Tiffany's puppies present,

and of course Sasha, Tiffany and another Standard, Max.

We invited a little Mini-Schnauzer, Brodie but he blotted his

copy book, attacking a puppy so was sent home in disgrace!!

Brodie & Buster puppy

When everyone arrived, the puppies were all kept on their

leads, but gradually they were let off until eventually they

were all off apart from Max, the older Schnauzer who wasn't too

sure about the whole thing!!

They played and chased each other round and round the yard,

entertaining all who was there. It was very funny.

Here are a few photos of the puppies.

29th September 2006

Our news is that we are having a Puppy Party on 7th October for all of Tiffany's puppies!! They will be 1 year old on November 26th but the weather may not be so good then so we thought that we should have it before the clocks changed. I am looking forward to seeing how they have all turned out. As yet, the owners haven't all replied but I am hoping they will!

On Saturday 23rd I was at Perth Canine Club dog show which was held at Perth Mart. There were hundreds of dogs there! Tiffany was 3rd in her Schnauzer class and Sasha was 2nd in a very large mixed puppy class, so I was extremely pleased with that. We did a few variety classes afterwards, one of which was the brace, ie; showing both dogs together. That was a laugh a minute!! Suffice to say that we still need to put in more practise!!! We were 3rd in that class.

We had an e-mail from Dougie Smith. He lives in Fife and he and his wife bought Alfie from us. Here is a picture of Alfie in his garden.

Achnacarry Sir Alfred (Alfie)

That is about all at the moment. The next thing on the agenda is Tiffany and Sasha's party, then we are off to the Utility Breed Show which is held on 21st October at Bo'Ness. Photos will follow after these occasions.

Until the next time...........

20th September 2006

On Thursday we set off for Tadcaster, near Rippon as we were showing Tiffany and Sasha at the Darlington Champion Dog Show. When we left the weather was wet but as we drove further and reached the Edinburgh Bypass the rain was coming down in "stair-rods". It was really quite frightening especially one part of the motorway which was badly drained and the car slightly aqua-planed. Once we reached Berwick it had cleared up a little and we enjoyed the driving better until we reached close to Darlington. We ran into the father and mother of thunderstorms! The lightening was flashing all around us and the rain was absolutely torrential. Tim had to drive so slowly, around 20 miles an hour, and yet there were still idiots passing us. How they saw, goodness knows! We were so glad to get out the other side.

Once we reached our destination the weather had completely changed and we had blue sky. We had a relaxing evening and after everyone was fed I bathed the dogs and we were ready for the next day.

It was a beautiful morning, and as we had done a recci the previous day we knew where we were going. The show was held at Newby Hall, near Rippon. The grounds were beautiful, just perfect for holding a dog show and it was dry!!!!

We had a very good day, both Tiffany and Sasha were third in their respective classes and therefore qualified for Crufts. I was pleased with them both. I thought they both moved beautifully and showed themselves off well.

Champion Bitch was Ch.Miccosukees Marquerite at Analeeb.

Reserve Bitch was Rickstones Petit Salou.

Champion Dog was Tamberg's Challenger.

Reserve Dog was Ch.Miccosukees Finnish Line.

Best Puppy was Miccosukees Yetanother for Jalero.

Best Veteran was Ch. Shered Snowy Knight.

Best of Breed was Tamberg's Challenger.

We still returned home with the best dogs as far as I was concerned and we always do. Here are some photos of Sasha and Tiffany at home. We left our camera in the car so .... no photos of the show I am afraid.

Our new friends, Andrew and Bridget Ord who bought "Monkey" from us have sent us some new pictures of him, and here they are. They also informed us that he is a finalist in their local paper for "your favourite Pet" so we voted for him and look forward to hearing if he won.

9th September 2006

We were at the Lothian Dog Show in Edinburgh and actually had a very good day. Tiffany won her class which delighted both Tim and I then Sasha won Best Bred by Exhibitor class and was also 3rd in the Puppy Stakes class. We even won a raffle prize which was a squeeky toy for the dogs!!

Here are some photos of Tiffany and Sasha and also one of Tiffany and her Mini friend, McGregor, who also won his class and just pipped Tiffany for Best Utility.

7th September 2006

Here I am at last having spent a few days updating the ponies page I will now attempt to get Tiffany's page up to date. As I said previously we went to Carnoustie Dog Show and had a good day. Sasha was 2nd in the any variety puppy class which was well filled and Tiffany was also 2nd in her Schnauzer class. We did enter the brace class, but ....... we have a bit to learn yet!! Ha! Ha! Here are some photos of Tiffany and Sasha and also of my friend Sarah with her Pharo Hound. She also had a good day as she won her class.

Some of Tiffany's puppy's owners keep in touch especially Helen Peters who lives in Kirkcaldy. I took Tiffany and Sasha down for a visit and spent a very pleasant and entertaining day there. Here are some photos.

Time for tea....will continue later ....when I can grab the computer again from Tim!!!!

Back again.....here are two nice photos of Tiffany and Sasha.

What else have we been doing? We have been at lots of horse shows and the dogs always go too. At Drymen Show we entered the dogs at the dog show. Tiffany was 3rd in her class but Sasha was unplaced, first time that has happened to her. However last week at Strathallan Show Sasha was entered in their puppy class and she won 1st prize! That made up for Drymen. Tiffany missed her class and Breac (Jack Russell) was entered in the Lorne Sausage eating competition! He loved the sausage but ate it too quickly and was promptly sick!! Breac

Next on the Agenda is this Saturday we are off to Edinburgh to a little dog show where both dogs will be in Not Separately Classified Classes but it will give Sasha some practise before Darlington Championship Dog Show on 15th of this month. We are looking forward to the journey down and hopefully we may be lucky , but if not we will still bring the best dogs home!

11th August 2006

I took a few photos of Sasha yesterday and here they are. We are off to our dog show tomorrow so fingers crossed we have a good day. Photos will follow ....hopefully if my Chief Photographer is on the ball aka Tim!!!!

9th August 2006

Not much to report except we are off to Carnoustie to a dog show with Tiffany and Sasha so more news later. Last night Sasha and I were at Ring Craft and we are getting there so ...fingers crossed for Saturday.

2nd August 2006

Since I last updated this page we have mostly been showing ponies. Tiffany and Sasha are usually always with us as was Hope and Breac. If anyone has read the up to date news on our pony page you will know that we had sad news just over a week ago. Poor Hope died, our beautiful "black dog" as we affectionally called her. We had been up in Dornoch as I was judging the Highland Ponies up there and we had left Brenda and her father looking after the ponies and Hope and Breac. We decided that as it was so hot Breac and Hope would probably prefer to stay at home and anyway they are always spoilt by Brenda and Jimmy!! Our last memory of Hope was wagging her tail following after Brenda, along with Breac as she had Treats for them. Poor Hope .....we do miss her big black face and her rushing around looking for a present to give us!!! I think that the rest of the animals miss her too. She is buried in our garden along with Mac, our last Schnauzer and Soloman and Cody, our two Burmese cats.

Here is our recent favourite photo of Hope and her friends.

Hope, Tiffany, Sasha & Breac

I have been busy with Tiffany and Sasha keeping their coats in order and entering Dog Shows! We were at Bathgate on Sunday 30th July and Sasha was 2nd in the Not Separately Classified so we were pleased with that. I say WE!!!! because Tim actually came too!! Tiffany didn't do anything perhaps because I was rather late and had to rush in to the class without preparing her properly! Anyway it is all practise and we have another two to go to before the SKC Championship show on 27th August which is a Sunday this year. We are trying to qualify for Crufts. If we are not successful Tim and I are taking them to Darlington Championship Show on 15th September again trying to qualify for Crufts. We are in the unfortunate position in Scotland of not having many Championship Shows which cater for Standard Schnauzers.

We had a visit from Cooper, one of Tiffany's puppies...I trim him so it is always nice to see him. Hopefully we are going to have a get to gether with all the puppies later on in the year so that should be fun!!!!! Below are a couple of photos of Cooper.

Cooper 8 months old

Cooper again.

Sasha and I have been going to our Ring Craft classes on Tuesdays so hopefully they will help us.

That is all for now....not a lot to report except we are thoroughly enjoying having Sasha...she is so much fun. Unlike Tiffany she is a very good traveller so is never a problem in the car. The only thing that compares her with her mother is she likes to chew things!!!! Hopefully she will grow out of that soon!! Hopefully I will have some photos from the forthcoming shows, now that I have persuaded Tim to come with me!

Until the next time..........

13th June 2006

On 31st May I had one of Tiffany's puppies over to groom. It was Cooper...a big puppy...he was one of the largest in the litter and he has turned out a very handsome dog. Tiffany and he had great fun playing before and after his haircut. Here are some photos of him.

On 5th June I had another two of Tiffany's puppies over to tidy up. Helen, their owner had actually made a very good job of their coats but it is always difficult doing their heads and bottoms when you don't have help. It took almost all day but at the end we had two very nice dogs. Like Cooper, they have grown well and I must say I am very proud of the way they have all turned out. Hopefully towards the end of the year we will have a puppy party and we shall see how the remainder have turned out. I should think the party will be a laugh a minute!!!! Anyway here are some photos of Jody and Rudy with Sasha and Tiffany.

That was a marathon!!!! Anyway some lovely puppies.

On Sunday, 11th June, we took Sasha to her first ever Show along with Tiffany. Her two other puppies, Jody and Rudy were also there. As a result Tim decided he would also go......... he thought he may be entertained!!!!!!!

As there were no Schnauzer classes we had to enter classes which are not separately classified and that is what they are actually called. ie; NSC.

Tiffany was actually the only one in her class, so she had no difficulty in winning that!!!! We were given the red rosette and another for Best NSC dog. The judge can withhold if they want.

The next class she was in was towards the end of the show after Best in Show. It was a Stakes class which was again a variety of dogs and it just means if you are placed you get some money!!!

Tiffany was 2nd in a very big class this time so I was very pleased.

Sasha was also in two classes judged by different judges as was Tiffany's. Sasha's first class had quite a few entries in it including her siblings and she was 2nd. I was well pleased.

She was also in a puppy stakes class which had lots of entries in it and once again under a different judge, she was 2nd.

All in all a very good day.

Here are some photos........

Well, that was indeed a BIG job but we enjoyed ourselves so much. I hope that Jody and Rudy's owners may show them both again......showing isn't everyones cup of tea, but it is a good way to socialise dogs and a nice way of meeting new friends.

Until the next time..........I will be reporting on how Sasha enjoys being at the Royal Highland Show which begins on Thursday 22nd June...........................

25th May 2006

Here I am again. I just couldn't resist putting some of these lovely pictures on the page (well I think they are lovely!)

23rd May 2006

At last I have got round to updating Tiffany's page. Since the last time, we have had a visit from Alfie and his owners. Actually they have been twice in the last month, once for a visit and the other for a much needed haircut.

I couldn't get over the size he is now...a little bigger than Sasha, almost the same size as Tiffany. He is a very handsome fellow.

Here are some photographs of Alfie and Sasha and Dougie, Alfie's owner...sorry about missing out Dougie's head!!! Tiffany and Alfie.at almost 6 months

Alfie before his tidy

The terrible pair

Again the terrors!

Nothing much else has happened other than Tiffany and I going to the SKC show at Ingliston. I was hoping to qualify her for Crufts but it wasn't to be.

If I had only entered her for another class I would have qualified because there was only 1 entry in it! However I must say I wouldn't get much personal satisfaction from that kind of qualification.

We ended up with Very Highly Commended which wasn't what I wanted!!!! That was on Friday 19th May and on Saturday we had Fife Show, but because of the cold weather our youngsters just haven't lost their winter coats. We don't take them indoors unless very rough weather and their coats just aren't budging, and we didn't enter any of the older ponies. However we went along to watch the judging and took Tiffany and Sasha and Hope and Breac....who at 15yrs of age preferred to sit in the car for most of the day!! I took along some of my brushes just in case I entered the dog show there. Of course I did. I was very pleased to win 1st prize.. We didn't get any further, but my faith was restored in human nature.

Tiffany is now in season so that will curtail her outings for a while, but as Sasha will 6 months this Friday....it will be her turn instead. Below are some photographs of Sasha.

Here we are at last.....time for an update on Tiffany and some of her puppies. We had news of Monkey, one of Tiffany's puppies who now lives in Castle Douglas. Hopefully here are a few photos of Monkey kindly supplied by his owners, Andrew and Bridget Ord.

Monkey in his new home

Two of Tiffany's puppies, Jodie and Rudi went to Kirkcaldy which is not too far away, so needless to say I paid them a visit. Hopefully below are some phoptos of them.

These are some of the photos I have received from the puppies' owners as well as some I have taken myself. I shall put one or two of Sasha on now as well as one of Tiffany. Last Sunday, Tiffany and I went to Perth Canine Dog Show wich was held in the Perth Mart, It was a long day , starting around 10.30am for us and finishing around 7.20pm. However I thoroughly enjoyed my day. First of all I showed my friend's Pharo Hound, Minya who won a 3rd prize in her class. Next I spoke to various owners of Mini schnauzers as well as owners of Standards. I also saw two of Tiffany's puppies which made my day. Next it was our turn. I was showing Tiffany.......Sasha is still too young to show as she is only 5 months old. There were 5 dogs in Tiffany's class (which is quite a lot for Scotland). This was Tiffany's first class since she had had her puppies so I thought if we were placed that would do. Imagine my surprise and delight when we were pulled in first and also awarded Best of Breed. Yippee!!!!!!

Here is a photo of Tiffany with her first prize rosette and also her Best of Breed Rosette.

3rd April 2006

Just a short update to say that I have various photos of some of the puppies. We had a visit from Cooper and his owners a week or so ago. He came for a little tidy up. I couldn't get over the size of him and he and Sasha played and played. Tiffany just watched!! The next visit was from Alfie and his owners. As there are two Alfie's this was the one from Elgin. He and his owners were visiting parents in Edinburgh and stopped by on the way home. It was lovely to see him too and see how he had grown. Again Sasha thought he was the "bees knees" and they played until they were both tired. A few weeks ago, I took Sasha and Tiffany down to Kirkcaldy to see Jodie and Rudi another two of Tiff's puppies. They all had a great time playing in their garden and also in the kitchen. There will be photos to follow soon but for now it is time for me to go and feed ponies etc........

14th March 2006

I have some more photos Tiffany and Sasha with Hope and also some of Tiffany and Sasha in the snow. Needless-to-say Sasha thought the snow was great fun and we had great difficulty in getting her back into the house. Here are some photos of Sasha and her mum and big friend.

I still have some photos of the other puppies to put on once I fathom how do get them off the disc !!

10th March 2006

Again the weather outside is horrible,I just hope that the weather down in Birmingham is better than this for Crufts.

There is nothing worse if you have a dog with lots of hair and it is wet! Hopefully next year we will be there with Sasha and Tiffany.

On Tuesday I took both Tiffany and Sasha to Ring-Craft classes. This was Sasha's first attempt at walking on the mat and I must say she trotted up and down like a Pro!!

Long may it continue.

We have had some news of a few of the puppies amd also some photos so I will try and put some of the photos on the page.

We had a funny e-mail last night from Alfie (from Ballingry) owners to say that they had taken him to a puppy party (arranged by the vets) only to see another two Schnauzer puppies there. Surprise surprise they were Rudi and Jodie....Alfie's two siblings!!!!

That's all for just now until I find the photos to put on...........

23rd February 2006

It is not a very nice day outside so a good reason for updating Tiff's page. Hopefully below is a lovely picture of Tiff's hubby.

Jalero Mr Mason (Percy)

When the puppies' new owners came for them , Tim and I thought it would be a good idea to take a picture of them and their new puppy.

The first puppies to go were Rudi and Jodie they didn't go too far away. They went to Kirkcaldy to Helen & Dick Peters.

Helen and her son with the pups.

The next puppy to go was Alfie (No 1) and he was going further afield to Harthill in Lanarkshire. His new owners were to be Angela and Kenny Vance and I enjoyed talking to them as they came from a part of the world I knew having grown up part of my life in Eastfield which is next door to Harthill.

Angela and Kenny and Alfie

Next to go was one of my favourites (I called him , Black Boy) he was lovely little dog and I fancied keeping him but Tim said No!...I think he was right or else I would have as many Schnauzers as I have Highland Ponies. He went to a very nice family near Stirling and here is a photo of him with his new owners, the McMillan family.

Black Boy or Jock (his new name)

The next puppy to was to our friends whose dog we were going to use before he became ill, Catherine and Mike Douglas who also live in the Stirling area. They live in a lovely little village called Deanstone. Hopefully their resident Schnauzer and Scamp will soon become firm friends.

Catherine & Laura with Scamp

The next puppy was to go to Castle Douglas to the Ord family. They live in a nice part of the country and I am sure they will have happy times with Monkey the name they chose for their puppy. Of course Xanthe's (our pony) mother was called Monkey so we approved of that name!! Their children, Noah and Page were very excited when Monkey arrived a day early as their parents came to collect him when they were at school.

Monkey, Bridget and Andrew

When it was time for the next puppy to go Tim said that the RAF had phoned to say they were coming to collect their puppy!! What he meant was that his new owner, Gareth (Gaz) Jones and his fiance, Stella were coming to collect him. Gaz is with the RAF so that was the connection!!!!! Their puppy is a big puppy and also the first puppy that Tiffany really took an interest in when they took him away. She walked out to the car with them as she always did but this time jumped up to give him a lick. Perhaps she had been counting and realised that her puppies were becoming thin on the ground! Alfie is going to stay in Elgin.

Gaz and Stella and Alfie

Next to go was Cooper, another big dog and a real character. His new owners, like Helen & Dick Peters had him booked long before he was born so we knew again that this was to be a super home. Apparently when they took him to their vet he kidnapped him and took round the surgery to let the other vets see him!! He isn't far away..he is down near Leven in Fife.

Cooper and Harry & Linda Keddie

Suddenly there were only 3 puppies left and the kitchen looked very empty but things were definitely easing up for me as far as looking after them went!! Next to go was Troy a lovely puppy..another character full of fun. He was to go to a family in West Linton where there were two children, Jack and Lucy. Once again, Tim and I were sad when yet again it was time for him to go. However like the rest he settled in very nicely and hopefully the Gray family will have years of fun with him.

Linda, Jack and Lucy with Troy

The last puppy, another Alfie (a popular choice) went to the Smith family from Ballingry. I had no qualms about selling them a puppy as their last dog died at 18 years!! I think he is going to have his legs walked off him by Agnes. Their grandson, Dylan also approved of Alfie so hopefully he will give them years of pleasure. Unfortunately I totally forgot to take the usual picture. As usual I would be talking too much and it wasn't until they were all away I realised I had no picture. However, Dougie Smith came to the rescue and e-mailed us two pictures but at the moment I can't find it. For the time being I have put up a rather nice picture of Alfie on his own in our garden and once Tim finds the lost piccie I shall add it.

Dougie is obviously on the ball as I only spoke to him this afternoon but hopefully below is the last photograph we needed to complete all our new puppy owners.

Dougie, Agnes, Dylan and Alfie

Alfie the last puppy to leave.

Of course Tiffany's puppies wouldn't be complete without a picture of our own puppy, Sasha. Sorry no rogues' gallery for us!!! Sasha is growing in leaps and bounds and is great fun to have around. Hopefully I will show her along with Tiffany but before that we have puppy classes to go to and also a few Ring Craft classes. Below are a few piccies of Tiffany, Hope and Sasha.

The puppies were great fun but BOY were they hard work.

In the next few days I will update this page and put some photos

Here are a couple of pictures of Tiffany and Hope at Christmas.

16th January 2006

Tomorrow did not happen, sorry. Am now trying again. A heap of photos of Tiff and her puppies are shown below. There will be earlier photos of her in due course, maybe!.

Tiffy's Pups at 6 and 7 weeks old.

The puppies have all been found new homes and the first ones leave us on 21 Jan. We shall miss them they are great fun but maybe life will start to get back to normal. Very time consuming and hard work, for Jean! I am doing a little more with the ponies.

8th January 2006

Tiffany has her own page! Now to put something relevant in it!

This is testing only! I will try to do better tomorrow.
